At AXM Exercise Physiology we provide an exercise therapy service in our private boutique studio in the central Canberra suburb of Bruce. Our exercise physiologists provide the highest quality evidence based care in Canberra, treating you as a whole person, not just an injury, illness or disability.
We specialise in assessing and treating a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal injuries and pain, chronic diseases, neurological conditions, mental health conditions and disabilities recognised on the national disability insurance scheme (NDIS). We provide services to private clients as well as those funded through the NDIS, department of veterans affair (DVA), medicare care plans, workers compensation and CTP insurance claims.
Our team of exercise physiologists strive to help you build self-efficacy, enhance physical function, optimise your health and return you to meaningful work and activities.
Further to our clinical exercise services, we also offer VO2 max tests. VO2 max tests are the best way to assess heart and lung function during exercise, and are the gold standard in measuring your cardiovascular fitness. These assessments allow for safe exercise and will optimise your training and athletic potential.
