AXM Exercise Physiology

AXM Exercise Physiology is a locally owned Canberra business established in 2019.

We pride ourselves on person-centred care and listening to you and your story. This means the exercise program and guidance you receive from us is tailored to you and your individual needs and goals, with the aim to help you feel empowered and in control of your health, injury or exercise habits.

All of us at AXM Exercise Physiology love what we do, this passion drives our exercise physiologists and physiotherapists to help you achieve the outcomes and goals you set out to achieve. To help you achieve these outcomes and goals, our exercise physiologists and physiotherapists will always assess you as a person and not just a diagnosis or injury. An individualised treatment plan will then be developed in collaboration with you to ensure it is going to be achievable and fit into your expectations and schedule.

Our clinic is tailored to and open to everyone, we provide one-on-one consultations within our small private clinic, meaning you won’t have to worry about busy and potentially overwhelming gym environments. We can also come to a location of your choice with our mobile exercise physiology service. Mobile locations include your own home, local oval, local pool and local studio or gym.

At AXM Exercise Physiology we are able to accept clients from most compensatory schemes, including:

  • The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) with a valid D904 referral from your general practitioner
  • Medicare with a valid enhanced primary care referral from your general practitioner
  • Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance Claims and Workers Compensations Injury Claims.

If you are unsure if you fit into any of these schemes feel free to get in contact with us over the phone or email and we will be happy to talk you through the process.
